Minecraft items. Special thanks goes out to SilverfishJockey for helping me figure out some of the more obscure letters.

looking for suggestions (especially you SilverfishJockey) on what to use for the remaining letters. For R I don't know if I should use red stone or rotten flesh. Im curious if theres anything better to use than zombie head for Z, and as for those other letters, well Im really lacking ideas on what to use. I'd like to keep it to items if possible.

@OsyenVyeter - Terrific use of gradients!

First off, excellent job! You did awesome. Very HD and I can see that a lot of bricks were used. Second, since you used the orange dye for O, you can also incorporate the dandelion yellow for Y. It may start with a D, but if you want to use it the other way, you can. A zombie/zombie pitman would be good for Z. For the V, you can use a villager head. If I find anything else for K Q and X I'll let you know. Great job!
Comment by SilverfishJockey 4th april 2015
I've got it! The X can be an experience orb (although it starts with an E) the Q a book and quill (although it starts with a B) and the U and "Update!" block. I bet you've heard of that and It's probably the only minecraft item that begins with a U. If you can't find anything for K, just use a carrot. It won't hurt. I'll download this when I't's finished.

Woo! Nice job! Sorry I couldn't come up with anything better. Just downloaded. These fonts I download take a while to end up on Pages, so i can't wait to use them there.

not quite done yet, filling out the update block, I want to get all the granules
Comment by OsyenVyeter 6th april 2015

Aaa! I was working on my nether world and... how can we forget about quartz? Is it too late to change it?
Comment by SilverfishJockey 7th april 2015
Quartz I had thought of. But it lacks any much distinguishing texture.
Comment by OsyenVyeter 8th april 2015
True, true. Maybe the quartz ore block or the material, not the block would be better. I also noticed something. If I zoom out on your font, it looks genuine, like it was stripped from Minecraft itself! (that's a compliment.) Thanks for the special thanks, by the way!

I found that this font is especially at its best at size 24, wow!

Good and funny conversion. Most low-res 8-bit 'spritesheet' (any related graphics, actually) could be fontstructed this way (with a lot of patience, even from a script).

Goatmeal's great conversions (1/2/3/4/5/6) of misc. iconic arcade games were lovely as 2-bit too (five years before this cool fontstruction from Minecraft).

I see the info_update/info_update2/reserved6 block in there
