Wave Stroke, inspired by the theme of fluidity, is a decorative font for display use. The original concept was to have basic block sans serif letters that appears to be filling up with water. I then approached a more open design with the wave strokes being more decorative. The multiple strokes that make up the letters are influenced by the idea of flowing water. This is evident in it’s wave-like features which add elegance and a calming effect. I feel that Wave Stroke could be best used on signage for businesses such as the mind and body care industry and on book covers and publications.
