Beautiful achievement!
Perfect bevel. 10/10
@four - Excellent work on this terrific bevel font! Congratulations on the Top Pick.
Congratulations! TP well desereved.
I'm deeply troubled by the lukewarm reception of your excellent work. Almost no comments, and a troll vote? The good folks of FS must be on holiday. Or the summer heat must have affected their brain, and they are unable to emerge from their stupor. In the good old days fontstructions of such skill and beauty like this one were showered by positive comments and ratings within hours of going public. Where are you good people?
Fantastic work! Well done.
I also have noticed that FontStruct has gotten quieter. That includes me – although I come here every day, my fontstructing has slowed down, and I rarely have inspiration to comment any more. I just feel like I don't really have much to say. Hopefully we can find some inspiration again!
By the way, there seems to be some inconsistencies with the diagonals – compare the top left corners of N/P for example.
Great font, dear compañero!
I'm trying to create a bevel font long time ago, and this font put me on the road again, thanks a lot.
Thanks architaraz, Frodo7, meek, Goatmeal, Yautja and elmoyenique! This started as a simple inline font. I then added the little triangles to get the bevel effect; lots of nudging. A consequence of keeping these characteristic triangles is that some diagonals end in a horizontal, others in a vertical. Following that, I tried to keep these diagonals consistent within each glyph. x-height is only four bricks, making it possible to use the curved bricks.
