Very strict geometric design, playing with contrast, which you well understand. All letters are quite successful, the font is quite suitable for posters, posters, large and short texts. Display fonts do not have to be very good readable, @xXx XBox Gamer, design is more important.
You can get inspiration for fonts not only in geometry, but also in calligraphy. I made calligraphic forms that did not quite match the design, but would improve readability I think.
You planning on entering the serifcomp?
Thanks for the top pick, Rob! @Dmitriy Sychiov (Sychoff) + xXx XBox Gamer: Thanks for the feedback. Yes, this font has clarity issues which I realized early on, but most of my fonts follow strict self-imposed parameters which prioritize rules over readability. I broke my rules with most characters other than the capitals. @xXx XBox Gamer: I don't regularly use FS and as such wasn't aware of the competition. I'm correct in guessing I would be breaking the rules if I used this one for the competition as you may not use old fontstructions, right? I have an old MS Paint font I could use instead.
You cant enter already published entries before the comp times...
@xXx XBox Gamer: Thought so. I meant an old font I have not converted to FS yet.
Think so...
