Primary is a serif typeface inspired by stencils. Primary is intended to be used for headlines only. This typeface includes an alternate "A" character that works best standing alone or at the end of a word.

Ah, yes, now I can see the slight stencil, nice! (Q, # even $ cannot match this purpose FTM.)
Aeolien's "Kerbe" font shows your notches, too. I'd see "PRIMARY" textured in wood (in a sample image).
I agree, this is a delicate stencil. The notches fit the design perfectly. Love those beaks-terminals --- and the @.
