Irix was inspired by a font I lost track of, so I wound-up doing something else.

Irix is a rounded, condensed, bold sans-serif font that was inspired by a font I liked, but lost track of.  I wound-up adding little fluffs where the balloon/pipe would get squashed trying to make a tight turn, when I could.  I have no idea what it was supposed to be anymore, though I did have big plans for whatever it was.  Released as CC0 freeware because, Meh.

I was looking for the double dagger and the stray quotes after I changed the style.  Still looking.  } was flipped and that strange brick replacement in the reverse solidus corrected.  I'll hunt for the other two again, later.

@DynaType, FS itself is a complete and awesome tool for type design. You don't need to use FF after you've made a font, except for when you need the lines to be perfect. This font is great, my favourites are @, a, g, N, r, s t, v, w, although the consistency isn't at its best right now. Keep up the good work, Symbiotic!

The bumps are meant to be there.  They are the little fluffs you get when you bend something, the stress relief, or say when you sit down, even the tightest belly has bumps as the skin rolls around the bend (no longer stretched).  It's the angles and end balls that could use attention.  But this project did not turn out well for me, I don't even remember what it was supposed to be.  I like Humbell, better.  This one never quite hit the mark, so if anyone wants to fix it, or even take out all the bumps, they are welcome to make it fit their vision, if they see something.  I lost my vision for this one.

I'm moving on.

Pleasant roundedness, I've cloned it to add FirstLatin diacritics, then I'll install on my computer. Not sure if I publish it as I didn't do the hard work of creating. Maybe I'll mess with the verticals...

When you add stuff, you contribute to the work, so I would have no quams with you publishing it.  Plus, it is Public Dedication, so you would save me some work that I'm not going to do, and that would allow me to add your version with the expanded character set to Font-Journal and have another font available for designers that's good for commercial use, and also as a web font.  ;)

Riiiight,  then I'll  get on to that :D -- as soon as I've finished a stencil version to one of my published fonts
