Strange, the S and Z look better as the opposite of the shapes I expected them to be. 15 letters are basic shapes, 3 letters are 1x2 constructs, 6 letters are 2x2 constructs, and 2 letters are 3x3 constructs.

Great work! This is probably the most readable and natural-looking 1x1 design I've seen.
with composite u can actually make 4x4 bricks in 1 brick you can do more but that's not the goal here lol
I tried to go as little beyond the basic shapes as I could.
