Interestingly enough, several of the bricks I was working with seem to have lost their ability to be flipped. This seems to work even in a clone, so you can try it out for yourself. The first 5 bricks in the palette (the half-blocks, quarter-blocks, and half-arc) can no longer be flipped for me, although flipping did work at first since I have flipped copies of the half-arc in the font.
Also note that the nudged position of these bricks can still be flipped; it's just that the shape itself doesn't change orientation. Rotating these bricks still works fine.
Great design!
I encountered the same issue with flipping, and wrote staff about it. For now I'm working around it by copy-pasting...
I’ll look into the flipping issue ASAP.
Yep, I just redraw the misfits at the moment :D
Ideas for numerals
Very interesting use of half-arcs. For me, it comes across as a sharp & modern revitalization of something like FF Din. As for the /s, I think your solution is actually quite elegant for the small size used, and I personally can't think of a more elegant solution. However, I haven't tried yet, so I will do that and if I find anything, I'll report back
Whoops! Meant FF Dax.
Did not find a particularly elegant solution, but I found a near-perfect 1.5 brick curve in 2x2 filters
Do the uppercase letters, not lowercase letters with Uppercase!
