@V. Sarela (Yautja) - Wow. If there's one thing I love (aside from pixels), it's gradients! They're not only on the face of the design, but also on the bevels. EXCELLENT effect here.
@V. Sarela (Yautja) - Rock me, Chromadeus, oh, oh, rock me, Chromadeus! :^)
@Goatmeal, thank you! Love that song :)
Congratulations! Great work! It's a real shame that the gray gradients (and colours) can't fade a little more smoothly. (Hmm, maybe I need to think about that a bit more).
Well done! Love how it turns into italics at pixel size :)))
Amazing chrome design
Great
@V. Sarela (Yautja): Fantastic chrome effect. 10/10
@elmoyenique: OpenType SVG color fonts support vector gradients. However, at FS we have to live without them for now. The same as with Bezier curves, we didn't miss them for 13 years.
Thanks for the comments!
@elmoyenique, I was considering doing some halftone-type gradients that would look smoother, but that would be a lot of work.
@architaraz that's partly why I made the bevel gradients go in that direction!
This looks pretty cool, and has a very nice color scheme…
@Frodo7 But us FontStructors have found techniques to do "Bezier curves" within FontStruct's Limitations throughout the years, The first being to use angled bricks to imitate curves (Here are some examples by what I mean)… As FontStruct has evolved, we found more ways to create more acurate curves (especially using 2x2 filters)… And I'm unsure on the rest of the story…
This is an outstanding piece of work! I love how you have applied tonal value.
It couldn't be otherwise. Congratulations!
Gorgeoussss
i dowloaded it but it's not the same font as previewed in this page...
Thanks everyone.
@stefanopc you need a program that supports color fonts.
Cool font! but i found a problem on the otf..
when i download the otf file of the font, it
becomes corrupted.. did they NOT fix the otf
files?! but hey atleast the ttf file is good!
that actually happens on all kinds of fonts and i don't know what is causing this
Bat Ball
@annaButErik
it becomes big in every font installed in OTF
@yautjia
in windows 10 there are programs that accept color fonts but the fontstruct color fonts use another type that makes it impossible to show the colors. they appear monochrome and the only way to save a image of this font with the colors is to put something in the sample text thing, right-click, press Save image as... and then you have it in your system. idk how it is in a mac i never had one
