Latest variation.

I haven't shaded right to the corners as this would mean a lot of brick stacking, so I thought I would see whether it was worth such a tremendous task

Definitely worth the effort. :-)

Cheers for that :)

Now I really must put a few hours into finishing the shading in the corners

Beautiful work. It has a perfect 3D effect, at pixel view, with a shiny metallic finish. Kind of brushed aluminium. I'm especially fond of the V and W. It deserves a full 10p.

Thank you for the positive comments :)

I am slowly getting round to filling in the corners and edges. This has been helped by discovering that brick stacking can be done in batches (15 individual stacks are the most I have done so far - but it seems to be infinite). It's a nice little (relatively) mindless task that I can do whilst indulging in my penchant for over-loud music ... which is too distracting when attempting to be 'creative' :)

Shading complete ... over 2000 brick stacks. That's a guestimate. I may feel the need to finish the finest detail (which probably doesn't show up in normal sizes), but I am not sooo anal that I actually counted all the stacks :)
