Stumped a little for caps right now, but hey. Lowercase were always my first favorite, anyway.

Another elegant design - Go for those caps ... you showed what you can do with Arlen :)

Good stuff...some really beautiful glyphs...f, g, y.

I love the crossbar of the t, but I think the bottom part needs something different.
Comment by aphoria 10th november 2009
p2pnut: Hahah, thanks. ;P

aphoria: Options ahoy!

Tried out a couple of varitation on the 't'; any of you guys' thoughts on the matter would be loved and appreciated, since I can't really seem to settle on which one I like best myself!
Comment by Courtney Billadeau (cbilladeau) 10th november 2009
I like the last one the best, but maybe keep the 3rd (from the left) as an alternate.
Comment by aphoria 11th november 2009
I basically agree with aphoria, except I would switch the order. Keep the elegant descender as the default and include the more standard final version as the alternate.
Comment by William Leverette (will.i.ૐ) 11th november 2009
On second thought...I think will.i.ૐ is right, keep the long descender as the the default and the regular one as the alternate.

What do you think about giving the q the curled descender treatment?
Comment by aphoria 11th november 2009
...and because of the modular pixeling, this is a good candidate for the ol’ “bezier-like” fs treatment. : )
Comment by William Leverette (will.i.ૐ) 11th november 2009
THE VOTE IS IN! Hahah. Elegant 't' is implimented; the standard 't' is also available (currently hanging out in the currency symbol's [¤] spot at the moment). Slightly modified from what I showed before, though, so I'll let y'all play around and see. ;P

aphoria: I originally did try the 'q' out with the descender pointing left like everything else, but that tends to read more like a 'g' than a 'q'. Buuuut with the standard 't' in there now, maybe a flipped descender won't be so out of place!
Comment by Courtney Billadeau (cbilladeau) 11th november 2009
Also, freaking sweet mod, will!! I will have to give some more of those angled shapes a try in an alternate version... maybe once I finally get the caps done, hahaha. ;P
Comment by Courtney Billadeau (cbilladeau) 11th november 2009
Oh yes, the descender of the q should curve to the right. I think the t should too, otherwise it is too similar to the f.
Comment by aphoria 11th november 2009
aphoria: Oh yeah, I had a version with the alternate right-pointing 't' with the new 'q'... looked pretty nice as it was.

I'll probably leave the elegant 't' as the main option and the alternate 't' as ...er, the alternate! But the new 'q' is in, so have at it!
Comment by Courtney Billadeau (cbilladeau) 11th november 2009
Yes You May ;)

I will probably continue to update both (i.e. with caps, haha). Starting with the pixel version and then going into the fancy curves is easier than the other way around!
Comment by Courtney Billadeau (cbilladeau) 11th november 2009
Startin' the caps...

... and finished! For now, anyway. I will later become dissatisfied with them and change them, promise.
Comment by Courtney Billadeau (cbilladeau) 11th november 2009
Beautifully done ... now it gets a 10 :)

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “Mother May I” is now a Top Pick.
Comment by gferreira_admin 16th november 2009
Hahah! Oh man, am I on a roll or what?!

Thanks for the Top Pick status again!! Holy crap. Connection is shaky here; I would like to respond to everything individually, but I don't know how long it'll hold out. All together, everyone's feedback on this one especially has been constructive, flattering, and so very appreciated. You guys make this type business even more fun than it already is. :> ♥

Caps will be going into the alternate version soon, once I decide whether or not I'm satisfied with how they are here. (And once I get onto a substantially less crappy 'net connection, haha.)
