Thin and skinny

Nice. I can see you're wearing your skinny jeans again. Looks real sharp at pixel view. Curious to learn why you went with the double width uppercase? Design decision or FontStruct constraint?

Cheers aj. I'm fairly sure that it was a conscious design decision ... but now you mention it ... maybe a Thinny Lite is on the cards.

I don't think the upper & lower case balance well, it looks really old fashioned, and a bit weak. I think the upper should be halved or at least a third thinner. I also think the K & k, could be sharp rather than curved. Also 4 is too thin, 5 centre may look better highter, along with 6 and 8. Again though the numbers look too wide.

@djnippa: I'm not too worried about 'old fashioned' - after all I revel in Deco design. However, your comments chime with aj's regarding the width of the UC and I am already working on a more balanced (thinner) UC. The numbers were a problem - as I was trying to maintain the x height that I had used for the horizontals of the UC. Perhaps I need to free myself from that constraint. The Kk looked too angular when I did the first (sharp) version - I was trying to keep the rounded look overall. Still, I'll look at them again when I slim down the UC. Thanks for your advice :)

New version of Thinny replaces this one.

l/c altered to (hopefully) balance the U/C

Nice job!
I'd like to use this, but need an adjustment...could I clone please?
Comment by jzparkem 20th july 2012
@jzparkem: Glad you like it. Sorry, but I no longer allow my fonts to be cloned. In the past people have cloned my work and then passed it off as their own. I'm sure that is not what you intend, but hope you will understand.
If there are any ammendments that I can make for you, let me know. Probably best via a Message :)

@p2pnut: Thank you for your response, and I understand your reasoning. I'll let you know via message if I still need to. Thanks!
