My entry for the Sports Challenge. I grew up playing baseball... so my sports influence was the infield of a baseball diamond.

The marriage of first- and third-base is a stroke of genius.

*LOL*!

Although it wasn't for the Sports Challenge and had nothing to do with baseball, I constructed a font called DiamondLinkMono with a similar pattern last year. My concept referred to the diamond shapes themselves and their use as links in a chain.

Your idea and execution are both much better than mine. Good luck with the contest! :)

My South Carolina Gamecocks just won the NCAA National Baseball Championship. So I added a character in their honor...

Favorited this one! I think this font would make a nice monogram to cut with a die cutter at small sizes. Plus I can't resist Muppets or Gamecocks :)
