Font from Betrayal At Krondor, (C) 1993 Dynamix / Sierra On-Line. Bitmap typeface that starts and ends most chapters in the greatest computer RPG of all time, "Betrayal At Krondor". Now 100% accurate, thanks to Flowswitch at the xBAK forum. Based on "Venice" by Bill Atkinson (one of the the original Macintosh system fonts) and "Naples" from EA's 'Deluxe Paint II Enhanced'.

easy to read at pixel size
bravo
Thanks for the kind words. It _IS_ an achingly beautiful font, isn't it? Especially for being from the old bitmap era.
I thought it could be used for someone making a faux fantasy-like document, place-names on an ancient map or something similar.
AND, I've just discovered another version from a 1992 Sierra game that I'll be working on soon...

It certainly looks better at pixel size -- too big, and it gets too blocky too soon! Thanks for the kind words.

As always, the Top Pick is much appreciated! As I've said before, I feel a little guilty, since all I'm doing is copying pixels. ;^)
Thanks for the information!
P.S. Made any fonts lately? :^)
I was able to purchase a copy of Deluxe Paint II Enhanced; while there are some other nice fonts in the program, none appear to have a distinctive style like "Naples".
Thanks again for the information.
In the early '80s, Apple programmer Bill Atkinson designed this beautiful calligraphy/script typeface, "Venice". It was his sole contribution to the original Macintosh system fonts; Susan Kare designed the rest of the typefaces used.
Here’s the story behind the name.
