Xerro. Because it started with the o, and it looks like zero, even though there's no numerals. Another faux bezier helveticaesque looking sans serif experiment. Lowercase for now. 060310

Wow Gene. For a second I was sure I was on the wrong website and that this was not a modular font at all. This is exquisite.

A masterclass in FS 2.0 - it seems unjust to only give it 10/10+++

I have been working on a similar (but so vastly inferior) sans serif design - to act as a basic framework for future work. Now I have seen this I will (metaphorically) screw up my monitor; toss it in the wastepaper basket and start again.

With your inspiration and help, together with the generous tutorials from aphoria and djnippa, I will now spend time honing my FS 2.0 skills (such as they are).

I have been going through a very dry period as far as inspiration for new designs is concerned - perhaps a return to the basics will help me re-hydrate my little grey cells.

Nice one!

It's hard to belive you did it with FS

Next step is to correct the optical effect of the O shapes... and we can throw away Fontlab ;)

We are very close to successfully challenge the Bezier curve. We might get even closer with smart polygons in the coming months, and one day, perhaps, infinitely close... Imagine a singularity moment in type design. Great work Gene. 10/10

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “Xerro” is now a Top Pick.

really nice work.
I was thinking that that kind of *faux* curver were just impossible. I was really wrong.
Just waiting for the full set.

Wow. I'm struggling to make diagonals like these. How did you achieve those? I can't find the brick combination to make lines with shorter angles.
Excellent work!

May I ask what the stroke width of this font is? I would love to see if my (as yet unreleased) FontStruction is in the average width range of a Bezier-curve-esque font 'cuz mine seems a little fat.

Amazing! So simple, and yet so vastly complex!
