Powerful and evident, like many of your fonts. I like the way you make fonts with a very pro aspect and at a same time a very subtile, personal feeling.

Awesome “Saturday morning cartoons” feeling. Excellent integrity and simplicity, and it's just damn fun.

A really great, chunky, lively design. 10/10

When you can produce work like this, there is no need to call anyone else 'master' ... you are an equal.

Thank you very much for your kind comments, they are for me always an encouraging empowerment. But I keep saying I'm an apprentice and I have too much to learn from you.

One of the great things about FS is that we all get the chance to learn from one another :)

@p2pnut: Many thanks for your invaluable support, you and your comments make possible that FS will be more than an exchange of information, with the way you explain things FS gets bigger and that is why I so admire your constructive points of view. Thanks for these all days little greats things, praeceptor.

your work is very soulful. especially this font. yes, it is fun, but also has a lot of presence and personality. it is very welcoming and almost seems to say hello :) even your last sample, although a different theme than the first, is made friendlier by this font. some fonts are just nice guys :)

@funk_king: I am very grateful with your comments always. I just try to make real some ideas that previously only existed on paper or in my imagination. FS is a wonderful place to do it, and I would want to have a little more time to use it in improving my fonts, not finished generally absolutely.

@elmoyenique: i wish you the best on your journey and you have begun and have been going well. and i agree that FS is a wonderful place to grow and share and work along outstanding designers like yourself. and almost as intriguing as your work is the name game for your fonts which all begin with z :) i suppose you don't worry about it until you finish? but what happens if you can't think of a z name? just kidding :) it's very entertaining; but like i said, without the substance of your work, it would be an empty game. fortunately it adds the richness of the font.

@funk_king: Attention World! I will reveal the secret of z in the filenames of my fonts: the first font I made in FS existed yet because I had designed it in an excellent vector drawing program called FreeHand and it was called "zamzibar", the next font continued with a name starting with z ("zenbla") and so on until today. If I can not think an appropriate name, I can always add z to the name chosen and is already (a whim innocent as any other). What always attached to the name of the fonts is eYe / FS, to provide insight into their origin. And that's all folks (for now).
Comment by elmoyenique 17th june 2010
a mystery solved. somehow i thought it was more involved process than just adding a z :) still interesting and the eYe / FS thing also. as they say in showbiz, you gotta have a gimmick; but you got to have the talent too and you do :)

Well, in the end things tend to be simpler than they seem, which is not an obstacle to return often complicated by themselves. Maybe you wonder is because I put these strange English names to my fonts, and I do not speak English (well, only a bit, right now I am using a translator), and that can produce for an Anglophone loud or dissonant names, I dunno. You think this is? Talking about these things is for me a pleasure, never a nuisance.
