Another 2x filter experiment, paired with heavy usage of the Macaroni bricks. Based on the original logo for the Sony Walkman Cassette Tape Players from the 1980s. Type "Walkman" in the User Input to see!

Awesome! It's really '80s styled. Makes my think of a futuristic video game.

Thanks for the kind words, xenophilius!

Looks like the picture I created did the trick; I tried to think of every prominent graphic style from the 1980s -- my teenage years:

-- Small repeating pastel patterns against a white background? Check.
-- Use of large geometric shapes? Check.
-- Liberal use of primary or pastel colors? Check.
-- Black-and-white checkerboard pattern? Check.

congrats on your well-deserved TP. other than being my kind of font, this is very evocative for me. having owned many walkmans, your sample makes me want to dig one out, pop in a cassette, lace up the roller skates and go for a spin :) ah the days of wine and roses...

Thanks, Funk_King!

I had a lot of fun with this one, trying to figure out what to do with the 90° corners. Luckily, the corner of the L was rounded, pointing out the solution to me.

Yes, cassette tapes, video game arcades, Intellivision, VCRs, TRS-80 Color Computer... the good old days. :^)
