@will: seeing how I've sworn off curves-by-numbers, I've become increasingly interested in the shorthand that the octagonal approach offers. I've had a go at more-or-less strict octagonal designs, but what interests me more is the mix of "illegal" angles along with the conventional ones. How economical can you be, and still fool the eye into seeing curves? And what's more, fooling a computer monitor. (Easier and harder by turns.)
@aphoria: glad you like them. Although I probably haven't finished. The weight looks a bit uneven (probably because I dashed them out during the adbreaks of "Fringe" on the telly). I know. It rots your brain.
