How about this way, Xenophilius? :^) It looks, err, rather covoluted at the default display size. Try zooming in! 8)

P.S. There’s a starting character on Í (option+shift+s for Mac). Spaces can be used to pad the wave effect and create shapes and background textures. Enjoy!

Cool! Add an ending character, please. 9/10.

Thanks, BZ. Adding space characters after the starting character, and at the end of words, works well to pad out the wave pattern. Like in this sample below. :)

Yeah, I did just get pwnd. This is so much better than my font. I give this a 13/10.
I love the composites you have outdone yourself to create.

Hi Guys! :D

Thanks for digging my bit of composite wizardry. The strength of the design lives and dies by the original pixel font, so that distinction goes to Xeno for the bold source material (ok, I made a couple tweaks, notably a and j). I really feel it’s neither a question of ownership or pwnership — if this is at all a competition, the only victory comes through each of us shining our creative lights and making beauty.

There is so much more hidden potential within and beyond composite bricks; I do hope these offerings illuminate your own journeys of exploration and creation!

The contrast is very low, even null, you know ! ;-) and with or without waves (the same can be achieved in many similar ways : dots, patterns…) I enjoyed the spaghetti effect of the texture (better than the pixel characters this time), and the confusion at the first two seconds. Funny.
