good work!
Comment by regular_one 7th February 2013
Great! I know it's not meant to be that legible, but maybe you could reconsider D/L/Q? They could still be improved I think.
Comment by V. Sarela (Yautja) 7th February 2013
@regular_one: Thanks!

@Yautja: D,L,Q definately need work, but alas I have no ideas for them...

One of your very best, partner! L is more a G for me, Let it rest a bit and come back to it later, maybe some more effective solutions will come to you then regarding the few chars still too much ambiguous! This font made me think to Quimplef beautiful Drysfa gwallgof
even if your grid and approach are personal and different

Good new "D", i think the old one could have been a good alternate "P".
For me, the "O" could be a very cool alternate for "H" but is definitely not a "O". Have you tried to center or even pull off the vertical bar of "I" ?
Comment by Abneurone Fluid Types 7th February 2013
This font was a little present for you… ;)

I and L are pretty hard, I'll change O. I keep the old versions in lowercase.
Comment by Noah (winty5) 8th February 2013
This font works well with Distortopixel.

Update: Fixed O, I, L (hey, that spells oil!) and added more alternates on the LC.
Comment by Noah (winty5) 8th February 2013
Very smart and effective new "O" and "L" ! "I" still doesn't work. I think you could use the new "i" you put on LC for UC too because it works also very well with the rest of UC set.
Comment by Abneurone Fluid Types 8th February 2013
In the new "LC" set, "b" doesn't work, the rest are awsome so far. You have impressive intuitive skills at the border of legibility.
Another thing : As the "Lc" set are not real "Lc", i would personally develelop it as a separate font, UC being rich enough to work alone, to not bring too much complexity and confusion to a font which already needs efforts to grasp. I've been there. The more you distort usual habits the more the distorsion must be clearly defined and reducing the sets to the very essential is one effective method.
Comment by Abneurone Fluid Types 8th February 2013
@AFT: I'll keep the LC as a set of alternates. and yes, b needs work. Thanks for the help :)

I've change the I too.
Comment by Noah (winty5) 8th February 2013
Really impressive "Lc" and "UC" sets, you were right to persevere. But the UC "I" is the last one which fails, in my opinion, too much wide feeling. Your sample shows that the preceeding one worked better. Maybe you should keep it, finally, and sorry for the confusion. This font has really become a precious little gem now, exactly the kind of sensations i'm searching for my own typographic collection which i will review and update after i put all my fonts in the TESTAMENT BOOK. 5Psycho will surely be added.
Comment by Abneurone Fluid Types 8th February 2013
Yah your right… i'm gonna change it back.
Comment by Noah (winty5) 8th February 2013
Update: Changed I, added numbers and punctuation.
Comment by Noah (winty5) 8th February 2013
Excellent new "I" and perfect numbers. Congratulations, Winty!

I'm with AFT and the rest. Great work!
Comment by elmoyenique 9th February 2013
@AFT: Out of the 100 or so fonts i've made, this is my very favorite. And really, i'm not that skilled. I've just been doodling different letterforms since age 6. Haha, little monster :D

@elmo: Thanks!

This is strange, crazy, and uniquely freaking awesome!
And great solutions for each letter :)
Comment by cablecomputer 10th February 2013
Thanks @cablecomputer, the hardest letters were I, D, L. :)

Still my absolute facorite of yours. I can just stay in awe in front of it and wonder how a kid could achieve this, even with a bit of my help. Cheers!

Thanks again! I really like this one as well, it was one of my hardest to achieve perfection with. Now I must finish Extended Latin A.
