Recreation of the pixel font used in Sega's "Shinobi" (1987). Note the shuriken symbol, which has been mapped to the "black star" (U+2605) unicode point. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

This has to be one of the most amazing fonts from a retro video game ever. And it's monospaced...

Thanks folks. Yes, this font was quite amazing to recreate...very complex when seen up-close, but once you see the end result it makes sense :)

@reudx - Congratulations on another terrific recreation. Close up, it's just a bunch of blocks. You have to take a few steps back to really see the intricate beauty in this one.
