A new phonetic alphabet for English, where similar-sounding letters look similar, unlike standard Latin, where P and R look similar but having little-to-nothing in common. Letters are matched to their IPA symbol in many cases, a close English sound (e.g. "c" for [tʃ], "j" for [dʒ], and "y" for [j]), or, a capital letter, e.g. "D" for [ð], "N" for [ŋ], and "Z" for [ʒ]. Some extreme examples: [ə]/[ʌ] is "x," [ɲ] is "Y", and "X," "Q" and "q" are the phonemic diphthongs.
