Slightly exaggerated rendition of the classic medieval 'textura' of Christian manuscripts. I mainly used Barbara Bundy's book 'Colour Calligraphy' for reference.(in progress)

Futile- perhaps, ugly- arguably, illegible- admittedly; but one must see at least an experimental merit in this idea - a font in which every letter except J is only one brick.

A top heavy modern style serif font with lots of letter combinations which I will call ligatures but are not actually ligatures per se. For example, you may be surprised to see that the ampersand types the Latin 'et'.

A replica of the lettering I carved into a linocut book cover that I made for my favourite book: The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner by James Hogg.

This is my first pixel preference font. It is based on popular forms of title and display writing and engraving in 16th and 17th centuries. It is named after famous printmaker and painter Albrecht Durer, although his writing was only one reference out of a few for this font, and you may notice that other than the A, there are not many similarities with Durer's style. The upper case is purposely deteriorated alla Caslon Antique, and is wider spaced than the lower case.
Gamma and Delta in Greek and Coptic are alternate G and D.
Other ligatures and alternates are in Alphabetic Presentation Forms in Unicode.

This font is only old style non-lining numerals. It was only intended to be used as reference and cloned by anyone who can't be bothered making their own numerals (a disposition that I can relate to). If you're wondering, the few letters are only there to spell out the title of this font, and they look awful because they are all deformed numbers.

I decided to only change the capitals in this font because the lowercase was always legible. I would still recommend using Canary Demi because at larger sizes where it is legible, it is more elegant.
I am considering making the simplified Chinese characters on this font, which will be a MAMMOTH task. However it would then be the very first Chinese font on the site. This is a clone

A referential classic Trajan font for experimenting on when you can't be bothered to make your own pixel serif font.

Clone of TRAIANVS. In the uppercase, light comes from the left and therefore lights up the right sides of the letters, and vice-versa for the lowercase.
@, _,*,#, and % are all marble vein textures that you can type in without taking up any space.
Lowercase in progress. This is a clone of TRAIANVS

Just some fun. A very narrow space allows you to unstick some glyphs that run into each other.

This font is based on the signature of one of my favourite cartoonists, Al Hirschfeld. Because of this, I copied a few of the letters and invented many, and therefore I am unsure about the descenders for Q and J, and the widths of M, N, V, and W.

A universal alphabet with faux-Greek influence. You will find that there are two distinct types of sigma, in contradiction with the universal vein of the thing.

Uneven, bold and jagged, here is my attempt to recreate the crazy styles of lettering featured in UPA cartoons as a standard type. The lettering was done by hand so that the letters could kern perfectly, so it was difficult for me to recreate that aspect as a font.

This was going to be about experimenting with the new nudge feature, but I decided that it would look better without curves. But because I worked on the small grid, the nudging did come useful.
