About 30 years ago, when I was in highschool, I used to draw words in my notebooks, with lettering that looked like this using the pre-printed squares in my notebook. It was infinately cruder, and had no shading... So for my first font ever, and since the work sheet very much resembles that squared notebook from way back when, I figured I would recreate it!
This time as a soft, kind of bubble-block font. Capital letters only.
Hello again! Here's someting I started dabbling with years ago, but never finished or published. Fontstruct bricks and functions have evolved since then so I decided to give the ‘font’ a facelift and make it a little more complete (still no plethora of glyphs but I'm ok with it for now). Circus wild west meets casino and slot machines. Gambling, gunpowder, acrobats and jesters. Wash down with tequila.
This Font is a likeness of the pixelated font seen on Samus' inventory screen in the video game Super Metroid.
The numbers are themed after the Energy and Missile value numbers, without an outline, so that text effects can simulate that part of the look.
A font themed after geometric fonts like Handel Gothic.

Update - Added Cyrillic since everyone loves this font
This is a font inspired by the word 'systematic'. My main influence when creating this font was archiecture and the form of buildings. I focused strongly on lines and the grid system as I felt this really fit the theme of 'systematic' and archiecture as both remind me of acting according to a fixed plan or system; methodical.
This is a clone2019 marks the 100th year of the existence of Bauhaus. In honour of this iconic art movement, I have designed my first Fontstruction based on the minimalist and structured design which embodied the movement from 1919 until the mid-1930s. In order to create this Bauhaus inspired font, I have kept to 5 different 'blocks', that create the form and a 5x7/6 size allowance to keep a uniform structure.
This is a cloneThis font is inspired by the people that rebel, protest and defy our political stances. Taken from the word ‘unstable’ this font aims to convey a sense of political instability. Using the imagery and typefaces created from protest banners I created ‘f*ck boris’ whilst encompassing iconic rebellion symbols used throughout our history.
My first fontstruction was inspired by Eastern Art at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. I loved the dragon decoration on the old ceramic pots in this section and have tried to portray a similar theme in my letters. (work in progress)
Paperfold is a decorative typeface that is based on geometrical shapes and forms, imitating the paper folding technique.
This typeface features a condensed, modern and clean block look. Ideal for sporty, festive, adventurous design themes.
For the uppercase letters and symbols, most of it has a fold for every curve. While the lowercase letters and numbers, each first line has the fold imitation only, and the rest of the lines curve smoothly.
The typeface can also be converted to outline which features a maze-like appearance.
This font explores the theme of anger. I took inspiration from heavy metal/rock album covers and tried to recreate the same irregular/jarring lettering they do. To do this I painted letters quickly on varying sizes of paper and translated this onto fontstruct to get a rough/rushed look.

Many LC glyphs are an alternate to corresponding UC.
I haven't mastered creating good joints between FS bricks and the compos I need to make ""to join"" the two types of brick. Trying to get them to flow into each other produces more or less untidy joining in many places which I find frustrating. Maybe I have to sketch out simpler designs for easy Fontstructing.
Looking at the caron I wonder if the center cross-over brick needs replacing with the one that dips downwards? See the two different bricks in the caron of E and e.

It is finally done!
It took me around 3 full days of design work and polishing.
The major character design part is about done, and I probably will only add some additional extra ligatures and special characters.
The design approach is a large grid Faux Bezier style to get the most out of custom shaping Top/bottom grid scale is a total of 71 bricks with ascenders and descenders included.
I have done a whole lot of finalizing background work already, and many pairs have been kerned already, but not everything was done yet, this is going to be completed within the next few days.
