An attempt to make a design with the pointy bricks. It reminds me of broken LCD displays, but also looks like it's in the middle of transforming into something.
Experimental cloud flower doodle thing.
While this looks bizarre, it creates some unique effects. It is also visible at FAR smaller sizes than any other font I have seen. Check out the Pixel view to see. Interestingly, this superb readability is lost once the font is enlarged from this size.
I haven't figured out what to do with the numerals yet, and only put the placeholders there so I could get a better preview on my page.

Experimental effects font. To me it looks like pins, hot air balloons, weird trees, icecreams, map points, fancy upholstery, and more!
Here we have a font made from hand-polished hipsterite rocks found only in the depths of the River Styx. These are the most expensive and most pretentious rocks you can find anywhere. This font is their punishment for existing.
This is based on rounded rectangles, which have been the subject of a few conversations and in-jokes between friends. Because the rounded areas are rather small, this font needs to be a fairly large size to present the full effect.
A highly abstract, mandala-like segmented display which turns bodies of text into primitive starfields, complete with constellations, planets, and space debris. As it turns out, there are quite a lot of ways to write, draw, and encode information with this! Check out the sample text views and try preparing some text of your own in the User Input field.
The name, and the background of the sample art, are inspired by some art/lore from a friend. <3
I might make more designs like this for generating different kinds of art/textures. If I do, I'll probably scramble the display pieces among the alphabet. I didn't with this one, and for certain kinds of text input, that might show.
A more minimal and cursive-like Hyperbole. Named after a certain Led Zepplin meme. :D
A design based on waffles and cheap lawnchairs - you know, the ones with woven plastic stretched over a tubular frame. "Awful Waffle" is a colloquial nickname for Waffle House.
Like many of my fonts, I'm just doodling and publishing this one to get the idea down. Maybe I'll continue it later.
An experiment in transforming the Latin alphabet to make it look alien by squashing it.
I think this one works best when your text is written in columns.

This effect font can achieve many looks - riveted plating, segmented displays, spectrograms, grills, cages, formations of vehicles seen from high altitude, jails, and more!
By request, a semimodular font which looks like a casual interpretation of "General Failure". This is also more condensed and more Pixel Optimized than its predecessor. It makes me think "fire station in a cartoon".
It uses a technique which folds some slabs in, which prevents slabs from altering the heights of letters - but slabs are still allowed to alter width to some extent. The slabs which do this are incorporated into glyphs' structures to such an extent that they are integral parts of the linework.
This could be kerned more closely, but like me, the requestor uses software which doesn't support kerning. Consider the spacing as part of the desired quirkiness.
* ABANDONED PROJECT *
This one is being published as a curiosity. I plan to revisit it in a larger scale, so I can pack more detail (maybe even entire towns!) into each glyph. A few people wanted to see this version so here it is.
This font is made to have the features of castles. (Proper balance and support not included!)
Arrow Slits - Also called "murder holes", they allowed defenders to safely repel invaders with arrows or spears.
Batters - Angled sections at the bottom of the walls. Onto these, the defenders would throw stones and other objects so that they would bounce toward invaders.
Crenellations - Cutout segments at the top which provided cover for archers.
Moat - A large ditch which helped to restrict access to the castle.
Portcullis - A mechanically-raised, reinforced gate.
I took the line width variation of Art Deco fonts and turned it 90 degrees to create something bottom-heavy. The result looks really technological and reminds me of 1980s PC microsystems like the Sharp x86000, BBC Micro, Dragon32, and so on.

A font resting on some columns. This was a doodle that became an experiment, so there was a lot of iterating.
I made the columns wide enough for a variety of different designs to be able to stand on them, so feel free to clone this and try your own!
Because of the minimalist nature of the design, many glyphs resemble each other.
I came up with an original high-res design, then brickswapped to turn everything into square bricks. The result sort of reminds me of Proxima Punch Pixel Squared, but less art deco and more computer-esque. It has a really old and naive look to it which could make it good for retro-terminal use.
"Buttons Foe" = "Obtuse Font". Not only is it an obtuse font in look and construction, it's reminescent of an era when computers were thought of as adversarial, magic voodoo boxes. So both the name and the anagram are equally applicable. :^)

Blocks are made from lines of widths 2.5, 2, 1.5, 1, and 0.5. Then the glyphs are carved out.
Vector art used for the Halftruth Lens and Deceptive Lens in the game Naively. These are pecuilar objects which impart the holder with certain visions relating to things the holder wonders about.
These lenses and the symbols' meanings are randomized each game, so the player never knows beforehand which lens is which. Below is what would be the default layout for an unseeded game...
A,B,C,D,E,F,G - thank you, no, yes, maybe, you're right, you're wrong, silence
H,I,J,K,L,M,N - you're right, maybe, yes, no, silence, thank you, you're wrong

Experimental 49-segment display.
In making and studying other segmented displays, I noticed they tended to have strong-looking right angled lines but weak-looking diagonals. This is my attempt to make a design where both styles of lines look more appealing and join together more solidly.
Version 1.1: Improved and shrank the tokens so that they can fit into the corner of an unflipped tile.
This is a set of tiles that can be used to create mockups and pieces for the Piecepack board gaming system. Dice not included!
