I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I could be accused of having curiosity a mile wide and an inch deep (something Americans are accused of). I'd be good at gameshows -- I have a smattering of knowlege in a lot of subjects. I used to be able to identify zillions of fonts at a glance but passing fashions and Father Time are fighting over which gets to defeat me first.

Maybe shifting to CCAN licensing will discourage pilferers from trying to make money out of my designs. Cheek!

2x2 schemes are all very well but they magnify the spacing issues x2 as well. Along with the usual "f"ing question it comes unstuck where I've added half-width bricks at the start or end of a glyph.
Oh well. Trouble is my middle name.

Part way through the "antiquing" process. If I'm overcome with a rash of enthusiasm I'll do alternate glyphs for some of the obvious candidates.

I can see I'm on a hiding to nothing with that damned cap "S". The lower case s is -- sort of-- acceptable, but it will be a miracle if I can avoid an ugly transition between angles in the x-bar.
So near and yet so far. All the cap single bowled letters could do with a more curvaceous aspect. If I manage to beat the "S" into shape I might have to take on the challenge.
Talk about a sucker for punishment. This is a clone

2x2 upscaled. If only all the glyphs could be equally nice. Then I'd be happy. I would.

A bit of a mish-mash of terminals going on here. One tries these things to see if they work...

I started out quite enthusiastic about this one but now I've cooled somewhat.

Slightly more readable than the parent because less compact. This is a clone of Sir Vere
