A continuation of ideas present in Technokratz, with some imagination added for good measure!

This creates new ambigrams and ambiguous words. Here are a few that I found:

AND = ROD

FACE = FREE

FONT = FROM

FOX = HOT

FREE = TREE

INTO = TOMB

LAY = EAT

PHYSICS = EXISTES

SOLD = SAID

TECH = MECH/MEEK/NECK

THE = AXE

TOXIC = MOXIE

VICTORINOX = LAWSUIT (hah, just kidding)

WATER = TAMER

YEATS = TEAMS

Since I like this ambiguity so much, I will keep working to make letters resemble other letters even more! The real trick is finding these synergies while still preserving enough variability in forms that things can still be read flawlessly.

This design inserts a dot into every empty grid square. Off-grid empty squares don't count - there must be an utterly empty space of 1 square's size ON the grid. The dotting further imparts a unique identity to every letter.

Shall I continue this one? Let me know. :D

Reverse in the visual context can mean many things. I decided to create letters and mirrored them, attaching them to a spine.The letters looked like filigree jewellery pendants.

I know that the I , T and W don't follow the design rule; I tried to align them on a spine but the result was unsatisfactory.

Perfect time to offer a font for the coming festive days: a set of fun letters designed to hang from a greeting card, gift-wrapped item, window, festive tree, etc ;) The courageous user might print the letters in different colours on an A6 size card and cut out to use like a real gift tag. The less manual user might prefer to type a message using letters of different colours, pierce the loops to add ribbons so that the inscripted sheet can hang from a parcel, flutter inside a window frame, decorate a bunch of flowers or add something extra to a greeting card... feel free to clone :) Happy End-Of-Year celebrations !

This is one of two typefaces that I have created in response to a brief set in my first term studying Graphic Design at UWE Bristol. My chosen theme for the six week project was decay. I decided to creat two fonts, an original and a decayed version. I took inspiration from graffiti and tagging that I photographed around the streets of Bristol.
