My aim to to express the most information with the minimum amount of pixels. I have minimized basic Latin, More Latin, extended Latin A&B, Greek, katakana, hiragana, Hangul, Cyrillic, Armenian, Hebrew, Georgian, Tamil, and Telugu. The katakana and Armenian are clean. The hiragana is a bit harsh due to the many intricacies in the strokes. If someone who knows whatever language uses those can discern one from the other, then it is good. Hangul lacks quality because the glyphs were simple enough that I jammed them closer. Tamil is big because of the loops(or so it felt). Some need to be checked for positioning.

2x2 squares for the upper case, 1x2 for most of the lower case. Only the dollar sign went over that limit. There are some stylistic options but I think this is the smallest font you can make with Fontstruct. The @ and # signs weren't roaring successes bu I'm happy with this overall.

My first proper attempt at a fontstruct - uses just a 2x2 grid pattern and no stacking.

It's not really finished yet (there still are lots and lots of special characters and accents missing!), but you can write with it yet! :)
I hope you like it.This is a clone of raffiX .bit capitals

A smoothed version of my Simplo font. It may work better than the other version in some instances.
--------------------------------
A very small but highly legible font with non-overlapping glyph shapes. It only works well at the correct font size (try 10-12pt).
My priorities were:
- use different shapes for each letter (eg. 'd' does not look like 'p', 'b' and 'd' are not mirror images of each other)
- make an extremely small font, to fit more information into the screen.
With a smaller font, more words can be read each eye-fixation, also looking at source code is much nicer.
I wanted to make it as small as possible without sacrificing legibility. It is not a monospace font.
Credits/Inspiration:
Just want to mention three great fonts I've used a lot: Dina, Proggy Square and Bitstream Vera Sans Mono.
Disclaimer:
This font is not for everybody. If you are specifically interested in an extremely small but still legible font, this should work for you.

To use on small texts. The best is to use it with a font-size below 10.
