We live in a world controlled by technology. As a creative professional I rely on tech to perform my primary business activities, whilst I am extremely pro-technology, I also recognise the negative impacts it has on society.

The theme for this project is ‘Dangerous’.

Please feel free to use this font as you wish, I would appreciate being told in advance as I love to see my work in use.

My fontstruct steamed from the word wicked this lead my to the word fear. At first I wanted to create a type that looked evil. I made the word fear by using materials to create the letters and putting them in a box for people to touch. One of the materials that I used was pipe cleaner. I based my fontstruct around pipe cleaner. I thought this would be interesting because I had to manipulate the pipe cleaners without using scissors therefore you are restricted and the letters become basic.

Pypeface is a sans serif typeface, based on the theme of compression and inspired by the form of pipes. The typeface features a number of lines and soft corners as well as overlapping and entwining tendencies pipes have. The lower case characters have been created by predominantly using two lines. Pypeface is strongly suited to the advertising industry within hardware, plumbinb and industrial indusrtial, but can be used to achiece a simple and sophisticated look within any field. It may be desirable for steampunk or sci-fi novels, games or even film credits. It could also be used very bluntly in large as each letter becomes a new maze for the eye to find its way around.

1st year Graphic Design student at UWE Bristol. 1st FontStruct, this is behind a three dimensional work, ornate was my chosen theme, cursive handwriting was a main focus. A progressive piece, which is tied into to the name "inifinate" due to study into Graphology.
