Printable, is, as you might expect, a font designed to be easily printable. In this case, I designed this font to easily work with 3D printers.
There are no floating components that would fall out, if you were to make cutouts of letters. Also, all lines are of uniform width to allow single line printing.
Feel free to use this font for any personal projects. However, if you plan on using this for projects that may, even indirectly (youtube videos, webpage ads, etc.) earn money, please contact me first so we can come to an agreement. Thank you for understanding, and I hope this font serves you well.
If anybody has any suggestions on how I might improve this font, please let me know.
My first fonstruction is based around the theme of malnutrition, but focuses on lesser acknowledged end of the spectrum, over-nutrition. I took inspiration from nature of skin and fat on overweight or obese bodies, putting emphasis on the folds and bulges you might typically see on the skin of a larger frame.
I've been wanting to do this kind of font for ages, think of it as a soft square or a hard circle. Since it's been so long, I can't really remember the exact source of inspiration, but I do remember it had something to do with kix and his work.
The ability to kern now has obviously made the spacing better than it would have been otherwise. Thanks, Rob.
Designed as part of my university course, this font is based around the word 'squishy', taking inspiration from body forms, shapes and the creases which are created from these body types. The emphasis is not so much around the shape itself, but the negative space between them. My theme was continuous i started to try and create letters using string making a one line letter, then many doodles and sketches later i started to looped the lines back around becoming more and more looped and decorative until i scoured through them all taking the best bits to combine them into 'Continuous'. Continuous is smooth flowing font thats designed to be a continuous line that loops back on its self to create the letter using a mixture of negative space and the shapes created by the line.
