Bold-ganic is a bold, semi-dense, and playful typeface that incorporate organic and life within the design. Some characters are adorned with elements of leaves or sprouts, giving the typeface a unique, nature-inspired aesthetic.

I wrote down some letters and tried to copy them of on Fontstruct. This is what I ended up with.

UWE 'Communicating With Words' Graphic Design project.
I chose to look at the theme 'Decay', and was inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, Anna Garforth, Daniele Del Nero, and natural occurrences such as rotting fruit and mould.
I grew mould and made observational sketches, experimenting with a range of drawing techniques.
I then drew out my font, and used graph paper to translate it into pixels.
I feel this font could be used for things such as health posters for sexual health or smoking advertisements, or in children's books, due to the natural rounded quality.

This is my font that I created for my University Brief.
I wanted to express energy with this font and designed it around the natural electrical build up of lightning.

This is my first FontStruction while currently studying graphic design at Bristol UWE.
Lots of experimentation solely using paints; quick hand movements and flicks to produce a messy, unrefined effect. Working in less than 1 second for each letter (with real paints), used as reference. Inspired by East Asian calligraphy.
