Small-grid doodle which creates new combinatorial forms.

I considered this design rather rough and unappealing until I gave it negative spacing. This caused the forms to merge together in unpredictable and interesting ways. The lesson here is that sometimes the metrics, not the aesthetics, are what "save" a design.

Is it Serif or Sans? Western or Gothic? Double font or not? One thing is certain: This is not a time-travelling alien. Probably.

Experimental filled version of Pzydeco. The counter of "e" and all variations of it remains broken, so that the eye interprets it as "e" instead of "c".

Mechanical Horse resembles the engravings which might be found on a mechanical horse such as the one from Vampire Hunter D. What qualifies me to say this? Well, I watched Vampire Hunter D a couple of times and have been speculating wildly for decades, which is more than enough time to get good at it.

Please exercise caution when handling Mechanical Horse. Its edges can be pointy.

Here we have a filled-counter pseudoserif pseudostencil that is also a borderline IVO design at the same time! It also has a bit of a "double font" look going on if you look at the negative space.

Design Rules:

1. Internal negative spaces of glyphs will be filled such that a 0.5-brick-wide void exists between the filled space and the glyphs themselves.

2. When a glyph's horizontal line intersects with the filled space created by Rule 1, both the filled space and the line will be broken.

3. Vertical lines will only connect by two tapering curves or by the implied connections created by filled negative space.

4. Filled negative spaces may only join with the outer perimeters of glyphs.

A quirky Pseudostencil design with a central horizontal slot going through it. The "slot" is 1 brick tall for lowercase and 2 for uppercase, and becomes a vertical slot for numerals and certain symbols.

This is named for the cowboy and lasagna emojis. These were repeatedly added to then removed from several popular chat clients and websites. Changing emoji standardization or government conspiracy? YOU DECIDE.

It seems like the sort of font I'd see carved in relief on the sign of an old pub.

An ornate Goud with lots o' thorns! Now with MORE THORNS.

Rather than serve an ornamental or decorative purpose, this one is made to be as clean as possible so that it works well for body text. It's highly legible at small size, so it could potentially even be a programmer's font!

"Goud" stands for "Garden of Unearthly Delights", the name of an album from the band Cathedral.

Iterated version of an unreleased design called "Midnight Oil". It's also slightly related to Dethzmezenger and Gehenna.

I went against a few of my own conventions for this one. The close spacing might look a bit strange at times, but it eliminates the need for kerning while also creating a unique look. The overlapping spurs make me think of thorny plants!

This is an original design, but it does make me think of Planescape: Torment when I look at it, thus the name!

Another of Dr. Zeph's* mad experiments! This is an Alien Latin Groovy Minimalist Thingamabob with numerous unique forms of dyslexia-inducing ambiguity. It reads surprisingly well at small size!

An extension of ideas present in "Gehenna".

Experimental brush/pen thing. Has a slightly spooky look. Because of their tapering curves, many glyphs can render with a "split" or "stencil" look about them. This is due to software-imposed limitations on vector rendering. Designs which share this property can be considered Pseudostencils.

This design is not informed or inspired by any existing typographical traditions. I set out to make the "claw" bricks (as I call them) into a font and this is the result.
