A variant of Radio Grave which took many hours to produce. I think the effort was worth it! This is a functional Multi-font and can produce a broad range of effects, especially when used at down near the original size.

*

Shading Rules:

1. Use the darkest tone on the outermost concentric region and get lighter as one progresses inward.

2. Let the 5x5 region surrounding the exact center of each glyph use the lightest tone, except when this would place the lightest tone into its neighboring region.

3. Glyphs with diagonals and glyphs which use a smaller than 5x5 drawing area may bend rule 2 for the sake of more consistent and/or interesting shading.

Original size: 12.75pt (use multiples of this size for pixel perfection)

Being malnourished results in people fading away, they change and gradually become less and less. The majority being left with just their frail skeleton and their faint personality. Changes is based on the idea of people fading, the dark areas represents the faint personality that exists from a malnourished person. The dark areas taken from finger prints, literally show their identity in each letter.

this is my first Fontstruction and was set as a project within my graphics cause. The type is based on the word decay. Before creating the font i looked at different forms of decay and decided to base this particular font on tooth decay

Font based on the theme of decay. I started by looking at the decaying buildings, working from photographs of tired brick and worn surfaces. I made some rubbings from text on the side of a building and this is what the main font outline is based on. I wanted to create a worn font, with an almost burnt texture to replicate the worn and disintegrating buildings I started with. The name comes from text on the side of a building and I think the textures of decay can be beautiful.

Exactly one year ago, I released Brikd. This is kind of the same thing without the bricks. and the Rick Roll. plus a 3D extrusion. and faded reflection. and rendered in 1:2 scale. 073013 Updated with the New Pointy Bricks for sharper sheens.
