This is a small 10 pixel font that I am making primarily for low-res games and screens. The font is meant to be small but visually very pleasing. This font focuses primarily on letters that are still used today. So old letters or unused letters are not added. Right now it supports Latin, some Latin Extended, Cyrillic, Thai, Greek & Coptic. Due to addition of diacritics, and other markings, the distance between lines is somewhat bigger than most other fonts relative to the font size. I recommend you manually reduce the line distance by say -1 or -2 to squish the text a bit vertically. It is being used in a few games since it's inception.
This font was one of my early experiments with pixel fonts. I haven't worked much on this. Is a low res pixel font but is meant for larger text not necessarily super low rez. I believe the font was inspired by Lucasarts adventure games.
My fontstruct is based on the theme of theatre. The designs were achieved from my observations of some theatres in Bristol, as well as further research online. The main inspiration came from the achitecture around the stage curtains, which then lead me to a more art-deco style appoach.
Prévenir is based on repair prevention techniques in our devices - how proprietary screws are locking us out of being able to look inside and fix our things- creatinga physical seal. The idea of the typeface is to take a bitmap font, where the building blocks are easily visible and understandable, made pixel by pixel, and then add a 'seal' by making all the edges curved, obscuring the font making process.
The name 'Prévenir', french for prevention is a play on 'Avenir' a font used by Apple - a company widely known for their repair prevention strategies.
It's been a year since I've created "Fixedsys 2 Monospaced." It's the most downloaded font on my account, with more than 500 downloads.
To celebrate these achievements, allow me to introduce the new Fixedsys--reFixedsys.
Directly re-created from the image in the Wikipedia page, it'll be the best Fixedsys font you'll ever see and use. Enjoy.

The font looks similar to "DotumChe" at 10pt. The only difference is the character spacing. "DotumChe" has a spacing of two pixels, while there is only one pixel spacing in-game.
