A punk in a suit: the initial inspiration for this font came from the theme 'loud'. My thought process was that actions speak louder than words, and the Punk movement in the ‘70s helped people through a lot of social and economic unrest; punk communicates effectively. Consequently, I approached creating a typeface with the DIY mentality of punk. I observed the approach of Jamie Reid, the zine culture and various band posters to identify with the distinctive cut and paste style. I then considered how this could be used to communicate with more than one audience at once while retaining the punk aesthetic. This led me to create a typeface which is conflicted between serif and sans-serif; it features jerky counters contrasting with chipped bowls; it’s a font designed to appear cut up and pasted back together in line with the traditional ethics of DIY punk. Sasando Rote typeface is adapted from Traditional Musical Instrument from Rote Island, East Nusa Tenggara in Indonesia "Sasando". The sasando instrument from East Nusa Tenggara’s Rote Island has long been hidden and only visible in books, but the persistence of musicians from the instrument’s homeland is slowly bringing it to the fore. This typeface was made as tribute for indigenous art of music from East Nusa Tenggara.

A combination of blackletter and building blocks. Inspired by little kid's blocks. Descenders on A,H,K,N,R are meant to be there, I felt like adding them. :) This is also my first attempt at blackletter.

A font made for a music company's logo. They rejected my concept so I thought I'd make this available for everyone else to use.

Okay, so this is the first font I've ever done. It is an attempt to create the entire typeface (minus symbols, thus far) based on the logo of dubstep producer/DJ, KATFYR.
I hope I did well enough. Enjoy! ^-^
(Sorry about certain things like the spacing. For A you must press space once after every other letter except K. Some, you may need to press space three times.)
((Also, the spacing actually depends on the medium, such as Fontstruct vs Word vs Photoshop, etc.))
-Kerning is fixed in the version uploaded to Dafont.

NO matter for the kerning, I hope meek will make a kerning feature soon...

Font recreated from Techno Motor for Sega Saturn. Maybe there is font like this, but whatever, good pixel type anyway. Shift+4/5/6 gives internal/external/CD storage icons.

If there was a converter that converted music to fonts, this is what I'd expect to come out if you put in dubstep.
Inspired by the logos of dubstep artists such as Nero and Skrillex.

Monospaced font ( 3px-H , 5px-W ) for music notation and tab.
The page in the browser will need to be zoomed between 125% and 150% for the font to be readable.
Contact me if you have questions or want a html page sample.
Yes it's still very much a work in progress. This is a clone
