I now have over 80 crazy ligatures:
In FS, you can't yet. I'm hopeful the day will come when opentype feature support will be added to FS. About "strange" glyph place, there's a "private use area" in unicode with more than 6000 empty (unassigned to any particular glyph) characters for you to use. You add a simple code that directs to those characters, and that's about it... And when there are crazy instances when even those 6000 characters are not enough, you just remove codepoints thus creating empty glyphs that are not in unicode, and go from there...
It sounds complicated, but believe me, it's not.
This font will hopefully be my next myfonts release.
Thanks for the support, everybody!
As for the kerning, you don't need to redraw or add new characters or anything, you just define a kerning value in a window specifically designed for kerning.
I've decided to add small capitals, which is kinda cool and new for me, but now I realize that it will require much work cause they need to be kerned too, and need ligas too... Oh, so much work... Not that it's difficult, but very time consuming.
