Great stuff. I really love the lowercase...m, n, u, and x are great.

The word "minimum" in your sample makes me weak in the knees.
Comment by aphoria 8th may 2009
maybe the cleanest blackletter so far... coolio

Me too. ;)

10/10 from me.

While I totally agree with the 10/10 comment (Great work, Axel :), I did not post the comment directly above. It's some glitch, in the FontStruct back end (a true Ghost in the Machine).

I only say this now because the comment directly above is nice, but someday some nasty comment may be mis-labeled as coming from me. Let me state this for posterity that no matter what happens, I, minimum, will never say anything bad about anyone's creative output and hard work.

I like it very much. Especially the diacritics.

an instant classic :)

Since there's no other place to ask it, I'll ask it here in the comments of the top rated font: Who created the fontstruct logo? What's the story behind it?
Comment by thalamic 21st may 2009
On using this font the kerning/spacing really needs addressing. It isn't constant between letters.
Comment by djnippa 3rd june 2009
@ djnippa: "Yes... You're right, it needs a better kerning/spacing...but there's not much possibilities in this range with the fontstruct tools...
Problems come when putting toghether two round letters combination like: oc,bd,pq...
Neither solution I've tried was ok, so I've choose the one that affect less glyphs combinations.

Any recomendations & ideas about this issue are welcome!
Meanwhile, the people who want to use this font are going to need making some adjustments on it.

Hello, Axel. I just found this site and it's terrific! I really like this font. Regarding the kerning problems. I used to do calligraphy by hand. One of the things that hand done calligraphy has that computer fonts don't, is that there is always some tiny variation no matter how well done it is. Even on the very old typesets, there was variation. I guess what I am trying to say is that while exact spacing is necessary for many works, sometimes you need fonts that have that little variation, so that it looks more handmade which lends its own special charm to a work. Anyway, it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing this.

This font is REALLY good. REALLY good. I don't believe it! 48579104658613490561394569315/10!
@thal: Well, who created the website? I'd wager Rob Meek created it.

So uh, I'm kinda new to this place, can somebody explain 'No Derivatives' license means? Would I be for example, be able to use this in a fantasy map? And then later use the map which used the font in a Tabletop RPG campaign or in a book?
Comment by drakonsenshi 19th august 2012
@drakonsenshi: Yes, no derivatives means that you can't copy this to make a new font.

I have to vote a 10 to this. (Unique design of accents though, just have to explain it a bit to Vietnamese people, because the grave looks more like the hookabove to me)
