For my font project I chose the word decorative as a theme as it was what interested me most. I also decided to look into the idea of Art Deco as an influence. My initial research was looking at the typographic style of that time, but to further this I also looked into how Art Deco influenced the architecture of its time. This led me to look at elongated forms and pattern.
