I think I saw this font in the Calvin and Hobbes comic book. I'm not sure, it may have been Bloom County. The alphabet is very simple. ASCII is covered with 59 characters. The aliens have attained a high level of civilization and don't need as many symbols for their alphabet. They ony have one type of parentheses/braces/brackets. There is only one quote character. There are no cases or diacritics. Digits are simply a number of dots equal to the number. Four symbols look like celestial objects, after all the aliens are space-going.

In this artificial language and its sci-fi assumption, I'd rather be able to stop reading completely (when I can be a telepathist).^^
