Thanks :) Rescuing - yes that's pretty much what I am doing! I hadn't initially thought of it that way but it's like being a museum curator. I haven't been able to find a lot of older fonts but reproducing them here has been the best alternative and quite fun to do.
@Omegaville - You definitely are welcome into the Video Game Font Preservation Society. There are a few of us here; I focus on late '70s-to-mid '80s video arcade games and IBM-PC computer games typefaces, while @Patrick Lauke (redux) focuses on recreating mid '80s-to-mid '90s video arcade games and console typefaces...
