Experimental brush/pen thing. Has a slightly spooky look. Because of their tapering curves, many glyphs can render with a "split" or "stencil" look about them. This is due to software-imposed limitations on vector rendering. Designs which share this property can be considered Pseudostencils.
This design is not informed or inspired by any existing typographical traditions. I set out to make the "claw" bricks (as I call them) into a font and this is the result.

wow very nice idea, I suggest you work this out to a full scale font bro.
It's very similar to some acient european scripts such as Uncial, Carolingian minuscule, Insular and later Humanist script.
nice!
Thanks! I'll keep working on it as I get ideas for it.
THIS IS CAPS BEAUTIFUL
Very few fonts move me like this one does. It is beautiful and excellent.
Thanks! Glad you like it.
I'd like to work on it even more but there's a hurricane in my area... we'll see if the generator holds out well enough for me to remain online!
EDIT: The storm has already passed. How anticlimactic!
I kept working on generator power... then, normal power got restored anyway. I was able to kern most important pairs!
"e" at 600pt. No matter how far you scale up, the arcs never quite touch. This look has grown on me, though.
So zeph must be near an ocean... wow...
Light and playful and at the same time complex. I assume it was quite time consuming to get those bricks right. I love those gaps where bricks don't touch. We're heading towards exciting new brick combinations and glyph shapes.
@77: Most people in the world live near an ocean. :D
@Aeolien: Thanks! This is fairly simple structurally and similar to other 2x2 and 2x3 designs I have made (although this may change when I get around to adding more languages). There were a lot of kerning/spacing problems to work out, but none of the samples reflect it, because my graphics software doesn't support kerning...
