This is a colour font or layered font showing an optical illusion. It is based on my previous work Optill 3A&B. I hope you like it.
My brain makes it look like the squares are tilted when they are actually straight… Very nice work BTW. 10/10
Quite the optical illusion indeed, impressive and well executed
@Frodo7 - A wonderful (and natural) evolution of your Optill fonts. Congratulations! :^)
A very visual, impresive, interesting and creative transformation, with that personal and unique escheresque reconstruction of the glyphs. Congrats, Maestro.
I like the "movement" of this sample.
Wow, this is amazing. I love how you have combined the tilting effect in different directions and I keep checking if they are really not perfectly horizontal and vertical.
@Rob Meek: Thank you very much for the special mention. I'm happy now.
@BWM, time.peace, Goatmeal, elmoyenique, four: Thank you for your comments and generous ratings.
As one of you pointed out this is a new iteration of my Optill series. The glyphs are loosely based on my Hunor font. I made the basic elements smaller using composite bricks. The letters were thoroughly tested on text samples to work together seamlessly. Only minimal kerning was necessary.
The sample: I experimented with different colour combinations to maximise the optical illusion. Some colours work better than others.
Plans: I consider adding support for more European languages, creating capitals, or perhaps, adding Cyrillic letters.
I'm always in awe of people who understand the human mind so well that they can create such illusions.
