An experiment based on: "What if an 8 color wheel was a letter O?" A work in progress just to bring up the potential of the new update. These colors are just rainbow colors and were not inspired from LGBT flag.

What a beauty!! ?❤️? WIP?

Comment by elmoyenique 22nd june 2021

@elmoyenique

Thanks. Glad you like it. Yes, wip cause there' still a lot to do, maybe uppercase, numbers, kerning etc.

@meek

Not sure if it was suggested before, but would it be possible to also edit the baseline with Line Height enabled? Currently we can only edit top and bottom. If we could also edit the baseline then there would be no need to nudge every glyph to the baseline (connecting bricks are not on the baseline by default).

Looks very nice with the rainbow coloring…

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) 22nd june 2021

Very pretty colour font using the spectrum of old Apple colours and more. I like пирожки. 10/10

Comment by Frodo7 22nd june 2021

That looks pretty good!

Comment by erictom333 23rd june 2021

It's ravishing!

Comment by fontlanger2005 24th june 2021

Oh, people associate this with the LGBT flag... I should probably change the colors so as to not be political.

Comment by kassymkulov 24th june 2021

No, it's perfectly fine the way it is.

Comment by erictom333 24th june 2021

Nah man, I've changed it. I just shared it on Instagram and it just got too political :)))

Comment by kassymkulov 24th june 2021

Now you've pretty much ruined it. If oyu don't want it getting political on Instagram, don't post it on Instagram.

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “KD Pirog” is now a Top Pick.
Comment by Rob Meek (meek) 24th june 2021

Congrats, compañero! But I liked it better with rainbow colors. I think you should use them again and forget the opinion that others want to impose on you. Anyone who is not LGBT can show a rainbow for what it is, a set of beautiful colors with no further meaning, IMHO.

Comment by elmoyenique 24th june 2021

@meek Thanks!

@all And the colors are back!

P.S. This font has nothing to do with LGBT, these are just rainbow colors.

Comment by kassymkulov 24th june 2021

Excellent work! Just curious, what was the alternate color palette?

lovely pattern, almost reminiscent of the candyland board~

Comment by caterpillar's.kimono 24th june 2021

Thanks.

@meek Something changed and now there are layers the bricks of which can't be deleted. Even if you select all (A) then cut (X), bricks of this buggy layer still remain... The issue is not in this fontsrtuction, but I am afraid if I edit this fontstruction, some layers might become unresponsive too.

Comment by kassymkulov 24th june 2021

Bugs: Bricks can't be swapped. Some bricks are non responsive (can't delete them, can't copy them). Even if the layer is deleted -  the bricks of that layer remain.

Comment by kassymkulov 24th june 2021

Which FontStruction do you have the problem with? – you can send me the link via the contact page. I have noticed something like this but I’m not sure exactly what causes it.

Comment by Rob Meek (meek) 24th june 2021

It was causing so many headaches so I just deleted it. I think the cause is when a different layer but with the same color is created. They both seem to conflict with each other.

Comment by kassymkulov 24th june 2021

To me, the rounded shapes and rainbows have an 80s vibe. Or the Apple beachball :) Very cool concept. (And if people associate it with LBGT, what's wrong with that?)

Comment by Houlaiziaa 25th june 2021

How'd you managed to do the colors?

Comment by Dan P. Lyons (DLyons123) 25th june 2021

@Umbreon126 Well, nothing's wrong but I don't like that they're using a universal symbol as their own, a little selfish. Rainbow colors belong to everybody not only them.

@Dlyons123 At the moment, you'll need to be an FS Patron to be able to use colors in fontstructions.

Comment by kassymkulov 25th june 2021

Excellent use of the colour layers.

Wow! It looks like the IR is silent!

Comment by Hensley Dodson (Hensilly) 20th july 2021

For anyone who are still confused, these are the colors Red Yellow and Blue mixed together into more colors creating a rainbow like color wheel. (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH LGBT)

Comment by Pszczół 11th april 2022

Also, this is an EIGHT colored wheel, the LGBT flag usually has SIX colors.

Comment by Pszczół 11th april 2022

How do I make a color font?

Comment by GeisliEDU 24th april 2023

@GeisliEDU You need to be a Patron.

Comment by Bryndan W. Meyerholt (BWM) 24th april 2023

@BWM Ah, thanks. Thinking of becoming one anyways.

Comment by GeisliEDU 24th april 2023

im somehow not a patreon and cloned a color font (rezor color)
