This is the Plane 1 font of the GS Unicode 2.0 font series.  I've split this font up by plane since font files have a technical limit of 65,535 glyphs.

This font will be made up of U+0020 and U+10000~U+1FFFD, which add up to exactly 65,535 code points.

Things that are planned but not fully implemented yet are italicized.

Links to planes (I'll most likely be posting updates related to this series as a whole in the Plane 0 font):

Plane 0: here
Plane 1: [THIS FONT]
Plane 2
Plane 3
(No Unicode characters exist in Planes 4 through D as of U15.0)
Plane E: here
Plane F: here
Plane 10: here

PUA assignments can be found in the Plane 0, F, and 10 fonts.

Feel free to recommend PUA assignments!

Also, it's more than likely I won't know every script well enough that there won't be any mistakes.  If/when I make a mistake, please tell me and I'll do my best to fix it!

Maybe Gothic and those symbols you've seen on retro computers (1FB00-1FBFF) next when you have time…

Annoyingly, I've got Symbols for Legacy Computing in the PUA, same for Laten Ext-F and G. Would it be possible for there to be a mass move/copy/delete option?

Comment by erictom333 27th october 2021

@BWM I'll try doing those two blocks next

@Eric I just had my Plane 0 font open and copy pasted each invidual glyph into this one.  I don't think it breaks anything since it's not technically the same font.

Added UCAS Extended-A and more symbols for Legacy Computing.  I may still change the block elements (including those in the BMP) slightly, utilizing half blocks, etc., to make them look nicer and to make the math work slightly better.

Added the U15 proposed Latin Extended-G.  I usually don't add characters that aren't in Unicode yet, but I thought I should in this case, considering I found a phonetic transcription system that uses 1DF25 (d with mid-height left hook), disunified (I think) from F120 (d with middle left hook).  Also, this particular proposal is included in the Alpha Review Draft, so I think it's stable enough to be included here.

Do you plan to add 1F7D9 from U15?

Comment by lapingvino 27th october 2022

Added Kaktovik Numerals and the U15 9-pointed star (the latter looks kind of off, but it makes sense where the points are mathematically - I may alter it to be more aesthetically sound if I find a way to do that)

Seeing as how this font has gone a bit without any major updates, and since I've filled the Greek x1 block in the BMP PUA, I've decided to add more ancient scripts in what might be called The Ancient Update (I figure I should name these).  This includes Aegean, Ancient Greek, and Coptic Epact numerals, Lycian, Carian, Old Italic, Old Permic, Lydian, and Phoenician.  And also Arabic xC and Cyrillic xD for good measure.

More to come soon~

Added the Enclosed Alphanumeric Supplement block and a few characters from the Enclosed Ideographic Supplement.  I'm not sure that some of them should be fullwidth, as I think that only applies to a CJK/East Asian context, but they are for now until I know for sure.  Also, the negative capital Qs are slightly stylized since I couldn't find a way to construct the stacked bricks in such a way that it'd be perfect.

Update on the negative capital Qs in the Enclosed Alphanumerics Supplement: I've read on how to make composite bricks after almost six years on this site (turns out it's not actually that hard at all, I've just been ignorant this entire time!) - so the negative capital Qs have been redone to exactly match their positive counterparts.
