Homage to XVII Olympic Games that were held in Rome in 1960. And my entry to the first-ever FontStruct competition.

Nice work Em42.

Is that a cow?

Clean and simple design recall the 1960 Summer Olympics games in Rome. The founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus suckled by a she-wolf, according to the legend, the symbol of the city. Nice touch. 10/10

Great tribute. The geometric Olympic rings are a sweet addition.

@aphoria: You should watch out: last time I called a she-wolf a cow, she very nearly bit my head off!

@Em42: Awesome.

Thanks everybody for your comments.

@will.i.ૐ & Frodo: thanks for pointing out the history and iconography of the she-wolf with Romulus and Remus.

Below is one of the original posters of the XVII Olympic Games, where the she-wolf silhouette I used in Podio comes from.

very classical and distinctive. i do wonder if making a lc without the steps would make it more versatile, although perhaps not rendering the sample text as you envision. still, very nice.

@p2pnut: Thanks!

@funk_king: Thanks to you too, and congrats for your honorable mention!
As concerning your suggestion, the steps are used to emphasize the rhetoric and propaganda sports usually are associated with, so they are definitely a strong part of the design (...and besides it's where the font name comes from!).

For anybody wondering, lowercase O is olympic rings, and lowercase L  the she-wolf
