After 2+ years of FontStructing, I've begun to feel like I'm stuck in a rut lately -- repeating myself over and over again, desperately searching for any inspiration. (Not that many of my FontStructions were truly original to begin with...) :^)

Thank you for the suggestion. I actually would have liked to have continued the strokes to their natural/logical conclusions (see below), but it would have made the K, R, X, Y & 7 a bit too wide for my tastes.
The original font design used twice as many bricks (~10x10), but then I couldn't use the nice 1/4-circle bricks and was too lazy to use the 2x filter. I scaled everything down to a ~5x5 grid and relied heavily on "composite" & "brick-stack", but a lot of flexibility was lost in the downsize.
As they are now, the "angled" ends seem to complement the style, but your suggestion would totally work as well.
