Inspired by, but ended up nowhere near like, the title card font for Ballykissangel. Capitals have ascenders/descenders, lower case is the same set of capitals but without those (since they don't look great in certain alignments), mix and match for the best visual effect.

Seeing this i think you should check out the font "Butterfly" by CMunk here in Fontstruct.

Link to Butterfly

Similar, yet both have their unique style. I like the ascenders/descenders!

Cripes, yeah, they are kinda close, thanks for pointing it out. Kinda makes me wish I'd done a couple of the different characters similar to Butterfly, it seems like an advancement on this font :P

The asc/descenders were pretty much the only survivor from the mentioned Ballykissangel title font (will look that up and see if I can find its actual font name). I was always fond of them in the title so despite this font morphing away from it, they were kept.

EDIT

Ballykissangel uses the lower case of Peignot Demi ( http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/peignot/demi/ )

Ah, I love Peignot.

I also agree they have both their own identity, it was just because i wanted you to see the beautiful work of Cmunk, in this kind of esthetic

A strong, modern design with nods towards Celtic influences. 10/10

@Yautja Yeah, same - though was never fond of its lower case B and D personally!

@Abneurone Fluid Types I do agree, it's a very nice font (as are all of his!).

@p2pnut Thanks!
