A very cool monospaced stencil font, some really lovely shapes.
For better flexibility and usage are you planing on releasing a version without the arrows?

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “fs Scroll” is now a Top Pick.

What a great sample! Have you thought about one that scrolls in the opposite direction?
Comment by four 30th september 2015
Thanks, geneus; thanks, Rob; thanks, four.

I did do the scroll going right to left initially. The text appeared to go many times faster in that direction because it was flowing against the arrows. What I should do is change the direction of the arrows in the font.

@minimum - A couple of ideas...

1. To match your animated GIF from 26 Sept 2015, you could offset the solid/dither pattern for the lowercase (upper black -> lower dither/upper dither -> lower black).  That way, your could make the same type of scrolling effect sample using upper and lowercase letters.

2. You could make this a non-pixel version [Ooo! It pains me to say that! ;^) ] like your "fs Scroll (Not)" font, and use Patron colors instead of the dithering effect.

Thank you, Patrick. Nice of you to remind me of this forgotten font.

@Goatmeal: In a word, What? Also, lowercase letters, what?

Alsoalso , minimum is not a patron. thalamic will have to do that. But what thalamic will have to do, what?

@thalamic - My apologies for the rushed and confusing suggestions.  I hope to provide better clarification and examples later today.  :^)

Thank you. I'll look forward to it. You've already got me thinking about hot to update this concept.

While you are whipping up the example, you might enjoy listening to The Harmony Codex album by Steven Wilson.

1. Essentially switch the solid and dither patterns for the lowercase:

2. Make a "smooth" / non-pixel version (based on the original "fs Scroll (Not)"), and you could use the Patron colors to fill:

And to paraphrase Doc Brown, please forgive the crudity of these recreations. ;^)

Ah! Thank you, @Goatmeal. A looong time ago, I typed out a game from a computer magazine on my Commodore 64 that used color swapping technique to give the impression of going into a tunnel. I like the idea of jumping back in time in technique and jumping to current time for the technology. Look out for the new font in a few hours.

PS: Thank you also for the samples. They are not crude at all.
