This font combines the aestethics of Fraktur and Roman typefaces. It is also (now fully) stencil. But you would need a strong material for the schabelons, as most counters only have one opening. // The name "Düpbøl" is the combination of the German and Danish names of the same town in Southern Jutland ("Düppel" and "Dybbøl" respectively).

Neat font! Some letters are not as stylized as others, which may look a bit bland (especially V-Z), but maybe they mix up better in actual use.

Thanks! I did try to make some 3-shaped Zs, but they just didn't fit.
Comment by Christian Munk (CMunk) 18th september 2012
This is amazing! The G is very creative. Is the K missing some height on its stem?

I agree with Yautja, the V W X Z aren't the prettiest. Perhaps the Z could be modelled after the z?

EDIT: I see what you did with the K. It looks still a bit strange, but it's OK.

I'd love to see a closed-counters version!

Indeed, very rough, creative and interesting. I love how you left out things at all the right places...

This feels like a mixture of the hand-drawn and the well-worn. I especially like the l/c. 10/10

This looks really cool. Bonus points for unconventional stencilling.

The "fl" ligature is closed too, right? Not only the Å and å.
Comment by minidonut 20th october 2012
You're right, minidonut. I might fix that...

Thank you all for the nice words. And especially thanks to Meek for the Top Pick!

I've had this as a favorite so long, but only realized I never rated it or commented! LOL
It's a very charming font, rough but beautiful :) 10/10&fav (not +fav, it's been one :P)
