There are alternates for m, n, w & r ... any thoughts?
Comment by p2pnut 3rd november 2012
Smooth and pretty "non-struction". I prefer the regular m n w r.

my 10 to you! it's so cute!
Comment by regular_one 3rd november 2012
Cute, funny, happy... just the way I like :)
Can you reconsider "e"? It has sharp edge that makes it different from others..

I thought of elmoyenique’s work when I saw this. Very fun and well realized. The lively details that take it out of square are great! Personally, I like the alternate w.

Excellent work, fun, retro, bubbly and nice dynamic in textview. I love the alternate w, but the regular r, m and n are more in keeping with the rest of the font. How about an alternate A with counter? 10/10 + fav!

Thank you all.

I feel that I should mention the influence that led me to this one ... I saw that cute 'C' online and it grew from there.

I have since found out that the C comes from a font called MumboJumbo by Nick Curtis.

Hopefully the solutions that I developed for the rest of the font are sufficiently different from MumboJumbo and allow this to stand.

Simple and round with a large grid, 10/10! But it looks like there's a stray brick above the z.
Comment by Houlaiziaa 3rd november 2012
@Umbreon126: Thanks for spotting that :)

What a lovely Jazz Type. Cool !

RM Jazz Age is much more dynamic, lively and playful than MumboJumbo and it also has a lower case! Does the letterwidth on c need to be slightly increased?

OUPS Sorry,
This was the french version

I meant »wonderful« : ])

I'm with four! (And, when I saw this font, I asked me why I don't make some like this before) Excellent! 10/10.
Comment by elmoyenique 4th november 2012
Awesome...love the lowercase especially.

@p2pnut : do you work with fontlab too?
Comment by regular_one 5th november 2012
Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement.

@regular_one: I couldn't afford Fontlab ... and wouldn't know how to use it if I could. I downloaded the free TypeLight program, but haven't managed to get my head around it. So I carry on with good old FS.

@architaraz: I have slightly changed the 'e'

Thanks for the "e".

Cheers Mr M. :-)

That must be a massive grid you used !
Comment by yokubo 24th november 2012
@yokubo: It's just over 50 bricks high.
My usual range is between 50 and 60 bricks as I find that best for creating smoother curves.

Hi, p2pnut. Today, after seeing a font named Independant on dafont, I remembered this little cute font of yours. I decided to make it on a space I'm used to (4x4 grid with doubled filters). Now, I'm writing asking permission to share it on FS. It'll be clonable, otherwise there's no point :) Here's what it looks like:

@architaraz: Wow, wow, only 4x4 grid?? Mind blown.
Comment by cablecomputer 17th december 2012
@archtaraz: That is absolutely amazing!!! Of course you must share this brilliant piece of work ... I will probably clone it myself, so that I can learn the secrets of your incredible skill with small grid composites :)

I'm with the great p2pnut: astonishing work here! (I like this kind of levels, you know!) 10/10!
